Job Title: Commissioning Engineer
Location: Watford, London

Experience level: Trainee Commissioning Engineer through to Lead Commissioning Engineer

Profile: Our client is a leading name in the water treatment and HVAC industry, undertaking commissioning services on a mixed portfolio of sites based in the Watford area. Due to increased workloads they are now looking for a hardworking and motivated Commissioning Engineer, who will hold strong knowledge of the water treatment/HVAC industry and have experience inspecting and balancing water systems and must have knowledge of current Health & Safety legislations. Applications will be considered from Hemel Hempstead, Wembley, Uxbridge, St Albans, Harrow, Bushey, Rickmansworth, Stevenage, Romford, Enfield, Clapham, Watford, Croydon, Twickenham, Dartford and Bishop Stortford.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Must hold experience inspecting and balancing water and air systems.
  • Must hold experience carrying out validations on air and water systems.
  • Ideally hold experience working in a water treatment commissioning role.
  • Must have good knowledge of water treatment, chemical, technical and maintenance background.
  • Must have full working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
The Role
  • Carrying out commissioning duties on air and water systems, including balancing, inspection and validation.
  • Carrying out service work strictly in line with clients’ specifications.
  • Undertaking calibration of equipment to accurately balance water systems.
  • Inspecting project installs when needed.
  • Using information from site to produce accurate reports for clients.
  • Ensure that all works are being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety procedures.
  • Undertaking water treatment suites when and as needed.
  • Building and maintaining professional working relationships with clients.
