Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown callouts and perform roadside repairs.
• Diagnose and repair faults on HGVs, lorries, and vans.
• Complete Job Sheets and necessary documentation.
• Advise service receptionists on repairs and time estimates.
• Conduct vehicle inspections.

Overview

We are currently seeking a Commercial Vehicle Breakdown Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Independent Commercial Vehicle Specialist based in the Reading area.

You can expect a salary of up to £40,885 with OTE of circa £55,000. This role is ideal for experienced HGV Technicians with a strong background in maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repairs, looking for flexibility and progression opportunities - NOT A Mobile Mechanic Role.
