Overview

You will be homebased, living within the North West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses when needed. Realistically, you will be required to visit our Head Office approximately 1 - 2 times per week.

Responsibilities

• Drive value across materials supply, subcontractor management, waste and more; ensuring our repairs service is efficient, compliant, cost effective and sustainable.
• Lead, motivate and support members of the Commercial Team to deliver quality outputs.
• Lead on van stock replenishment processes ensuring they remain compliant and adherence to regulations and contractual agreements.

Qualifications / Experience

• Proven experience in managing contracts, subcontractors or supply chains, ideally within housing or construction.
• Experience in a commercial environment with a strong understanding of commercial principles.
• Qualification or experience in a finance background.
• Engaging and approachable. Confident when building relationships face to face with colleagues of all levels, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Commercially minded with a strong eye for detail, the ability to balance cost, quality and compliance.
• A collaborative leader who motivates their team and supports colleagues.
• This role is really suited to someone who is a confident communicator, able to engage effectively in person, building strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers. Has a true leadership presence, lead by example and motivate others plus must be commercially aware.
