Job summary

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial governance.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project cash flow.

This role offers the chance to work on high-value projects across the North East, playing a pivotal role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of live projects. You'll be instrumental in driving financial performance, ensuring cost control, and maintaining compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a site-based commercial team across MSIP & E&I contracts
  • Prepare and manage cost reports, CVRs, and financial forecasts
  • Lead subcontract procurement, negotiation, and final account settlements
  • Ensure strict compliance with contractual obligations and commercial governance
  • Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project cash flow
  • Contribute to month-end reporting and performance analysis
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial or construction sector
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (RICS membership is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent numerical and communication abilities
