Commercial Property Solicitor — Position Overview:

You will run your own caseload (with support and supervision) and work across a broad range of commercial property matters, supporting a diverse client base of landlords, tenants, investors, small businesses, and developers.

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Solicitor:
  • Managing a caseload of commercial property transactions
  • Handling grants and assignments of leases
  • Dealing with sales and purchases of commercial property
  • Managing property finance transactions and lender requirements
  • Working on option agreements and development matters
  • Liaising with clients, agents, solicitors and lenders
  • Maintaining accurate file management and ensuring compliance
  • Supporting and developing strong client relationships
  • Contributing to the firm’s business development and local reputation
Requirements of the Commercial Property Solicitor:
  • Solicitor or Legal Executive (1–5 years’ PQE)
  • Ability to run your own caseload with Partner support
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Experience with commercial property matters (as listed above)
  • Reliable, organised and confident working directly with clients
  • Corporate/commercial exposure is helpful but not essential
  • Must be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate before starting
