Overview

Service Care Legal are currently working with a leading Scottish law firm who are seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Property Senior Solicitor / Associate to join their busy Edinburgh office. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly respected Commercial Property team, working on a range of high-quality transactions including acquisitions, disposals, development, leasing, and finance work.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial property transactions, including:
  • Sales and purchases
  • Leasing for both landlords and tenants
  • Development work and site acquisitions
  • Security transactions for lenders and borrowers
  • Draft and negotiate missives, option agreements, development agreements and other property documents
  • Examine and report on titles and other key documents
  • Attend client meetings and build long-term relationships
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members as required
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years PQE as a Qualified Solicitor with strong technical expertise in commercial property transactions
  • Proven ability to manage complex caseloads independently, while meeting and exceeding fee targets
  • Strong client relationship skills, with a confident communication style and experience mentoring junior staff
  • Commercially focused team player with a proactive approach to business development and networking
