Salary : £42,000 per annum

1. The Department

The Marketing Department sits within the wider commercial department and plays a central role in delivering creative, data-driven marketing campaigns to help us achieve our ambitious growth targets.

We have an opportunity for a creative-data driven marketer to join our high-performing team to provide maternity cover and play their part in the next chapter of our journey – working a pace, collaborating across the Club and helping shape the fan experience for millions.

2. The Role

You will lead on high impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive sales and engagement across our three major revenue driving areas : retail, club stores, memberships and stadium tours. You will own end – to – end campaigns from planning and product positioning to market execution, for key moments such as kit launches, seasonal peaks, membership acquisition and renewals.

You will work closely with our digital content and creative teams to develop compelling assets that bring campaigns to life, while using insights, CRM, and performance data to continually optimise activity and improve ROI. You will also collaborate with teams across Retail, Ticketing, Memberships, amongst others to deliver a seamless, best-in-class experience for supporters.

3. The Person

You will need to have proven experience in commercial or consumer marketing, ideally within the sport, retail, or entertainment industry. You must also have a strong understanding of digital channels, CRM ecommerce and customer journeys. You must be confident in managing, planning and delivering multi – channel campaigns, with excellent copywriting, creative briefing and evaluation skills.

You will need to be data driven and proficient in using marketing analytics, CRM tools and reporting dashboards. You must be able to work flexibly as the club requires, this may include matchday working evenings and weekends, and other stadium events where required. You must also have access to a vehicle and / or the ability to travel between our Club sites; Villa Park, London Office and Bodymoor Heath Training Ground.
