Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee project commercial aspects for the MCPD Compressor Project. This role involves managing contractual changes, procurement, and stakeholder liaison. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in civil engineering projects and is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent. This position requires travel to project sites, primarily in St Fergus and Stone Cross.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in a commercial management role in Civil Engineering/Construction.
• Previous contracting experience, ideally in oil and gas.
• Experience managing a large portfolio of works or a project circa £50 million.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of the project.
• Conduct monthly cost and value reconciliation reviews.
• Oversee project procurement and manage contractual changes.

Skills

Commercially astute

Expert knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract

Understanding of programming techniques and project controls

Education

Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent
