At M Group Energy, we're enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our Transmission & Renewables team. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity. This will be based on a National Grid site in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
Are you an ambitious Commercial Manager looking to work on high-profile Transmission projects? As a Commercial Manager, you'll manage and assist the Commercial Department and project team to maximise profit and reduce risk, providing on‑hand experience and mentoring. You'll be responsible for MQS, QS and AQS roles across the portfolio of projects, assisting with the ongoing implementation/integration of commercial acumen and skills with all site personnel whilst developing lasting relationships with Business Unit and Project Managers. You'll compile information for preparing reports and claims to agreed timescales, whilst referring to the project risk management plan for thorough, accurate, high‑level risk assessment ensuring compliance at all times. Are you skilled in weekly forecasting and producing financial reports for analysis? Are you confident in managing subcontractors to ensure consistency across the portfolio of projects? We're looking for someone who can actively promote, suggest and develop processes for increased accuracy minimising reconciliation tasks and enhance project profit by identifying variations, delays and claims.
