Commercial Manager

Location: Dublin 15

Salary: Up to 120000 (DOE)

Working Pattern : 45 days per week in the office

A leading specialist contractor delivering high-value mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Dublin 15.

This role would suit an established Commercial Manager or a Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a broader commercial leadership position.

The Role

As Commercial Manager you will take full commercial responsibility for M&E projects from pre-contract through to final account ensuring strong financial performance robust cost control and effective risk management.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Commercial oversight of mechanical and electrical projects
  • Cost management forecasting and reporting
  • Contract administration and change control
  • Management and development of QS / commercial teams
  • Liaising closely with project managers engineers and senior leadership
  • Supporting procurement and subcontractor negotiations
  • Ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual obligations
About You
  • Third level Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills dealing with design team / client / meetings etc.
  • Good attention to detail with an analytical approach and ability to work using your own initiative.
