Job description

A Commercial Litigation Partner is sought to join a leading national practice in Birmingham. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the firm's strategic plans, with initial responsibilities including growing and developing the Commercial Litigation practice and helping implement the firm’s five-year growth strategy. The position offers a highly competitive salary, extensive benefits, and a clear pathway to equity.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience handling dispute resolution matters, potentially already serving as a Head of Department, Partner, or Senior Associate in the Midlands with strong regional ties.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting senior team members and mentoring junior staff.
  2. Being recognized in the Legal 500 and/or Chambers & Partners directories with a substantial following.
  3. Managing a broad spectrum of commercial litigation, including disputes related to boards, shareholders, partnerships, probate, inheritance, warranties, banking, and financial services.
  4. Handling your own caseload and supervising junior fee earners.
  5. Maintaining excellent communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder engagement.
