Job summary

An independent insurance broker based in Newton Abbott is seeking a Commercial Account Broker. The role involves managing commercial risks for SME to mid-market clients with premiums ranging from £500 to £25k. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in commercial insurance and will ideally hold or be keen to study for the Cert CII qualification. Overview

We are currently recruiting for a successful broking group that provides a great place to work for those who wish to progress their career in an owner led independent broker. They are now keen to add a Commercial Account Broker, to their Newton Abbott office.

It s an exciting time to be joining them, as the business continues to expand at an impressive rate and they have some big plans for the future for this office.

Working under a leadership team of a very passionate and knowledgeable insurance professionals, there is a real team spirit here, with a fantastic customer centric ethos, and they are looking for someone who wants to add to this!

You will be dealing with commercial risks for an array of clients, focusing on SME to mid market clients, so you will typically be dealing with premiums from £500-£25k. This is a superb opportunity for you here to really make your mark with the support of a dynamic and genuine Management team, who wants to ensure your success not only financially but with your career progression too.

Responsibilities

You will be dealing with commercial risks for an array of clients, focusing on SME to mid market clients, so you will typically be dealing with premiums from £500-£25k.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience in the use of Acturis would be ideal, however not essential, and ideally you will have 2+ years commercial insurance experience as a minimum, with a passion for putting your clients at the heart of everything you do.

You will also ideally have the Cert CII qualification or at the very least be keen to study towards this.

Offer

Salary on offer is £27-35k depending on experience, plus bonus.

Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, however they offer flexi time, so you can work 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am to 6pm when needed. They also offer a hybrid working environment, with staff able to work from home up to 40 days a year. They also offer:-
