Commercial Gas Engineer - Southern Counties

Areas covered: Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, London south.

Approximately 50% of the work is in the southern counties, covering MOD facility contracts, and the remaining 50% in South London, covering school contracts.

Our client, based in Southeast, is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer for a full-time, permanent mobile position around the Southern Counties and occasionally South London. This role is not for contractors.

Main Responsibilities/Duties:

  1. Perform planned preventative maintenance in the Education and MOD sectors, including commercial gas boiler maintenance, repairs, and minor installations on both traditional and modern energy systems.
  2. Work primarily within plant rooms with associated equipment; knowledge of heating distribution and ventilation systems is essential.
  3. Conduct mechanical maintenance on plant items such as pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and valves.
  4. Maintain high standards of work, compliant with relevant combustion regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications, Skills, or Experience:

  • Driving Licence
