Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Commercial Financial Controller will:

• Lead monthly analysis of financial results and key performance drivers
• Own the annual planning and forecasting process across the UK division
• Partner with sales, marketing, and supply chain to support commercial decisions
• Oversee financial governance of promotional and marketing accruals
• Lead financial assessment of new product development and launches
• Manage SG&A and manufacturing cost centre forecasting and reporting
• Own the intercompany P&L and ensure profitability is understood
• Line manage the Commercial Accountant and lead finance improvement projects

The Successful Applicant

The successful Commercial Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with:

• Significant experience in commercial finance, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods
• Strong FP&A and commercial finance background
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making
• Experience managing teams and leading transformation projects
• High level of analytical thinking and commercial acumen.
