Role responsibilities
- Lead a small but growing team, while remaining hands-on in the day-to-day activities.
- Lead commercial negotiations for new business with both new and existing clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and customers.
- Identify risks, liabilities, and commitments in contractual agreements; ensure they are clearly understood and their potential impacts are appreciated.
- Review, draft, update, and maintain contract documents.
- Monitor and report on performance and compliance against contractual obligations, including commercial performance and financial management.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels.
- Coordinate with contract delivery teams to manage change requests and ensure proper implementation in line with contracts.
- Report on the progress of change requests and projects.
- Review contract performance, assess commercial risks, and implement appropriate risk management steps.
- Prevent and resolve contractual disputes.
- Ensure adherence to Group Commercial Policy.
- Support client engagement teams in all commercial aspects post-contract signature to meet order, profit, and cash targets, and manage client relationships.
- Support project delivery teams by providing clear direction and working closely with the client engagement team.
Candidate profile
- Experience working in a pre-contract signature environment.
- Experience collaborating with finance, operations, and technical specialists.
- Sector experience is not essential.
- Strong understanding of legal and financial aspects.
