A leading law firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a junior commercial lawyer to join their Commercial Contracts team in Manchester. The successful candidate will handle a variety of commercial matters and collaborate with senior lawyers on complex transactions. Ideal candidates should possess at least 2 years of post-qualification experience and demonstrate strong project management and client management skills. We are seeking a juniorcommercial lawyer to join our leading Commercial Contracts team. The successful candidate will contribute to a broad range of commercial matters across one or more key sectors, including retail & consumer, sports, tech, financial services, advanced manufacturing, aviation, digital, and health.
From day to day, you will advise clients on the full lifecycle of commercial arrangements — preparing, negotiating, and managing contracts on both the customer and supplier sides. You will take ownership of your own matters, demonstrating strong project management skills, while also collaborating with partners and managing associates on larger, complex transactions. The role will also involve advising on issues relating to general commercial contracts, IT, data protection, and intellectual property.
We are particularly interested in individuals with at least 2 years' PQE+, who are looking to step into an Associate level role.

Our Commercial team is a national group, with teams across each AG office working together on national and cross border transactions. The Manchester team is ranked in Tier 1 with an enviable client base and consists of five partners, fee earners, trainees and embedded paralegals who are involved in a range of work types including commercial contracts, IT outsourcing, business process outsourcing, facilities management outsourcing, logistics, SaaS, cloud arrangements and Intellectual Property protection and exploitation.

To be able to advise at the level required in this role, we expect that you will have gained between 2 – 5 years post qualification experience in a comparable practice or in‑house.
In building this experience you will have demonstrated strong technical, project management and analytical skills, a keen intellect, commercial mind-set and a solutions based approach. You will be able to demonstrate that you are able to provide pragmatic, robust and tailored advice in a way that supports internal and external clients alike. You will have developed strong client management skills and built a demonstrable track record of strong financial performance.
