As our Commercial Buyer you will be part of a Team of three. Reporting to and working very closely with the Commercial Director.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives from being “in the detail” of everything.
You'll need to be an expert in excel, running reports, using pivot tables and analysing large data sets. A strong proficiency across the full suite of Microsoft 365 products is critical for this role.
A typical day might include supporting with supplier meetings, or where confident too, lead on certain accounts.
You'll enjoy doing the pre‑work, conducting research, understanding commercial terms and coming armed with questions and negotiation points. Research will include spend trends and supplier performance by speaking with internal colleagues across the Hayley Branches.
Your love of data will shine through in analysing rebate clauses and terms and you'll take a huge amount of pride and satisfaction in creating demonstratable savings for the business.

This is a site‑based role in Oldbury.
