Overview

Commercial Broker / Underwriter - Leeds City Centre

This is an excellent opportunity with a quality insurance brokerage based in Leeds City Centre, a short walk from the station and located in a modern and appealing office, although they are currently working on a flexible basis due to Covid.

Responsibilities

• Work within a small team on existing client relationships, mid-term adjustments, and renewals.
• Speak to clients and insurers on a daily basis and support a team of account executives based throughout the UK.
• Provide broking support and underwriting support using delegated underwriting authority on certain commercial insurance schemes, with full training provided.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 12 months of commercial insurance experience from a broking or underwriting environment.
• Professional and client-focused with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Previous use of Acturis would be beneficial; CII studies will be fully supported.
