A leading recruiting agency is seeking a Commercial Asbestos Surveyor for a contract opportunity in Carmarthen. This role requires expertise in conducting commercial surveys primarily in educational facilities. Candidates should hold a P402 or RSPH certificate, possess their own transportation and toolkit, and have recent experience as a qualified surveyor. The contract is expected to last for at least 6 months, requiring work for two days a week, offering a competitive rate of £275 - £300 per day.

Job Title: Commercial Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Carmarthen and surrounding areas along the M4 and A48
Rate: £275 - £300 p/d
Contract terms: 2 days per week, Mon - Fri
IR35 Determination: Outside of scope

Brief

If you are an asbestos surveyor looking for a new contract opportunity, then this could be great for you. This is expected to be an ongoing contract with at least 6 months longevity, where you will be required for two days per week every week. The workload is expected to be mainly Commercial Surveys to Educational facilities in the region, but will mostly be on the one static site. There will be a good mixture of buildings, including some of the old Clasp style schools.

Qualifications

• P402 or RSPH certificate
• Experience in this type of work
• Recent experience as a fully qualified surveyor
• Own transportation and survey toolkit
• Half-mask, recent face‑fit test and asbestos awareness certification
• Experience using the TEAM's software (advantageous)
