Job Description

Commercial Analyst M/F — Newly created role within the Actuation Systems team. This position acts as a key financial point of contact to support the delivery of the strategic plan through high-quality data analysis and interpretation. The role is data driven with a commercial focus and is a key member of the Integrated Product Team (IPT), collaborating across Actuation sites in France, Italy, and the UK to shape future business direction.

Responsibilities
  • Work with Business Development, Strategy, and FP&A teams to support the delivery of the strategic plan.
  • Understand and challenge financial risks and opportunities with the business.
  • Develop and report key metrics that support Business Development objectives.
  • Support long-term strategic planning for Actuation sites.
  • Deliver business cases and proposals for the Actuation business on time and in full.
  • Provide support for military and civil bids and proposals as required.
  • Help develop a robust governance process for bids and proposals, ensuring management system compliance.
  • Build business cases to support strategic investments and Actuation-wide central projects.
  • Ensure full compliance with accounting policies, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and international accounting standards.
  • Ensure military models comply with government legislation.
  • Deliver against continuous improvement targets.

  • Prior finance knowledge or qualification is advantageous.
