Job description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Commercial Accountant to join our Finance team in Westerham. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our business through accurate management accounting, financial analysis, and process improvement. You'll work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to drive productivity, efficiency, and informed decision‑making.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide accurate and timely management information to support business decisions.
  • Prepare and reconcile rebate accounting for EMEAA, and act as accountant for Marketing and Product Management functions.
  • Meet reporting deadlines and deliver quality supporting information for management review.
  • Ensure financial processes are automated, systematic, and provide a clear audit trail.
  • Produce budgets and forecasts for Marketing, Promotions, Projects, and Rebates.
  • Assist product management with business cases, ensuring financial data is accurate and consistent.
  • Maintain approval processes and digital storage of business cases for easy access.
  • Review trading agreements and ensure internal templates, processes, and controls are followed.
  • Authorise rebate and agent commission credit note payments.
  • Maintain and manage the financial management system (e.g., Anaplan).
  • Support confidential corporate projects as required by the Financial Controller or Finance Director.
  • Identify problems and implement solutions to improve financial processes.
  • Carry out any reasonable duties as requested by the Finance leadership team.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualification (or working towards).
  • Proven analytical skills and a track record of problem‑solving.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
