This regional insurance broker, which has traded very successfully for over a decade, is a real success story in the local business community.

As a result of continued growth, the need has arisen for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to oversee the management of a varied portfolio of commercial business.

As Commercial Account Handler, you’ll have full responsibility for your own portfolio of SME clients generating individual premiums up to circa £10K and comprising circa 30 renewals per month. In addition, you’ll assist an Account Executive with their larger cases, typically up to £100K premium. Your varied duties will include, but not be limited to, managing renewals, providing quotations, processing mid-term adjustments, and dealing with general day to day enquiries.

The company will fully support you to achieve your unique goals, whether this is working towards professional qualifications, or building on your experience to assume further responsibilities in the future. It's essential that you have previous commercial account handling experience, with good working knowledge of the major commercial products (Property, Liability / Commercial Combined and Motor). Just as importantly, you’ll be well-organised, with strong communications skills, and the ability to maintain excellent working relationships with clients from all walks of life.

This is an office-based role (Mon – Fri), with an early finish on a Friday.

You will be rewarded with a generous basic salary of up to circa £40K (Negotiable, depending on experience), together with a range of company benefits.
