Overview

Commercial Account Handler/Broker - London (Home Working Option)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a new independent commercial brokerage based in the city of London. They have a local presence in and around the South of England providing a personal service to all of their clients, developing new business opportunities through recommendations and referrals via their IFA sector, servicing all types of SME to medium size enterprise businesses.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mainly internal work with some external client visits where necessary.
  • Present risks to insurer markets and build and maintain underwriter relationships to secure best terms for clients.
  • Support client portfolios with a view to eventual move to a full-time external role, servicing the client bank.
Qualifications & Characteristics
  • Ideal candidates should have 2 to 3 years of commercial insurance experience and be currently working within a broking environment.
  • Role is suitable for less experienced candidates looking to take the next step and make an impact within a smaller office environment.
  • Strong communication at all levels, a can-do attitude, and a proactive approach are essential.
