A respected insurance broker in Glasgow is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Executive to build and maintain relationships in the SME and mid-market sectors. The role involves servicing clients and maximizing growth through effective account management. Insurance Industry Sectors: Commercial Insurance SME/Mid-Market

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Due to growth, this respected insurance broker has an opportunity for a Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join their successful team in Glasgow to build strong and trusted relationships with new and key clients within the SME and mid-market insurance sector

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Play a major role in ensuring we give a first-class service to clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships
  • Provide advice on all classes of commercial insurance risks
  • Mange client relationships
  • Develop the account through existing client contacts and contribute to maximising growth through converting new business enquiries, cross sale and up sale of relevant ancillary products
EXPERIENCE
  • Experience gained handling SME and mid-market insurance accounts
  • Track record of servicing SME/Mid-Market insurance relationships
  • A commitment and willingness to work towards a minimum qualification of Cert CII is required
SKILLS
  • Highly motivated and efficient
  • Track record within a relationship management role
  • Ability to handle a variety of communication channels (telephone, email, post)
  • Strong organisational skills for managing and updating client records
  • Sales-oriented mindset for up-selling and cross-selling products
  • Willingness to pursue professional qualifications (Cert CII)
