Are you a qualified nurse passionate about supporting young people's health and wellbeing? South Devon College is seeking a College Nurse to join our dedicated Safeguarding & Wellbeing Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students aged 14+ by providing first-line medical, physical, and mental health support. You will provide confidential advice and support on a wide range of health issues to students and staff, deliver first aid services across the college, and manage medical rooms. You'll create and review Health Care Plans, pregnancy risk assessments, and PEEPs, while liaising with external health professionals and supporting safeguarding processes. In addition, you'll play a key role in promoting positive physical and mental health across the college community. The successful candidate will be a Registered Adult Nurse, with strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and practices. You will have experience working with young people and handling diverse medical needs, along with the ability to remain calm and professional in emergencies. Our staff are integral to maintaining our passion and high-performance levels, and we reward our staff for this.
