Role - Coating inspector role

Location - Based close to Thetford, Norfolk

Working hours - Monday to Friday - Full time hours

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Overview

Our client is a leading manufacturer who is looking for a Coating Inspector to join their busy workshop team. Candidates will have ideally worked in a similar position.

Responsibilities
  • To support industrial coating quality control on new work scopes.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of coatings applied to various components, structural steel, pipes etc.
  • Assessing coating quality, adhesion, thickness, and overall condition.
  • Identifying and document any defects or non-conformities.
  • Monitoring and ensure compliance with standards and project specifications.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
  • Review and approve inspection reports and test results.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection activities and quality control measures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams regarding coating selection, application methods, and quality control procedures.
Candidate Attributes
