£16 - £19ph | Ipswich | Permanent | Monday to Friday

An established and respected engineering firm in Ipswich is seeking a highly skilled CNC Turner to join their team.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced machinist who thrives in a hands-on role and takes pride in producing high-quality precision components. The business operates in a modern workshop environment with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning centres
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all machined components meet strict quality standards
• Supporting colleagues with process improvements and resolving production challenges
• Maintaining a clean and efficient work environment

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 year's experience in a similar CNC machining role
• Strong experience with CNC turning; vertical machining experience is advantageous but not essential
• Confident in programming and editing CNC code at the machine
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
