CNC Turner (Entry-Level) – Coalville – £(phone number removed)ph dependent on experience – Full-Time / Permanent – Days Regular

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic CNC Turner with basic operating experience to join our client’s team based in Coalville. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a precision engineering environment, with support and training provided.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC turning machines under supervision
  • Load and unload components from the machine
  • Carry out basic quality checks using measuring tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres)
  • Read and follow basic engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Keep the work area clean and organised in line with health and safety standards
  • Assist skilled machinists and contribute to general workshop tasks as required
Requirements
  • Some experience operating CNC lathes or turning machines (training can be provided)
  • Basic understanding of machining processes and workshop practices
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills
  • Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Desirable (but not essential)
  • Familiarity with Fanuc or similar CNC controls
  • Basic knowledge of cutting tools and materials
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
