Overview

Job Title: CNC Turner
Location: Cumbernauld, Scotland
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: DOE + Regular Overtime + Benefits
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our growing manufacturing team in Cumbernauld. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a precision engineering company known for delivering high-quality, safety-critical components to major oil and gas, Défense and electrical clients worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes (Fanuc or Mazak control experience preferred).
  • Machining precision components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings.
  • Conducting in-process inspection and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Working with a range of materials including exotic alloys used in oil and gas applications.
  • Maintaining machinery and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborating with the production and quality teams to improve manufacturing processes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience with oil & gas or similar high-spec industries is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc / Mazak / Siemens controls is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Shift work and occasional overtime.
