A precision engineering company in Crewe is seeking a CNC Turner to program, set, and operate CNC lathes using FANUC controls. The role includes producing bespoke orders and maintaining machines. Qualifications

  • CNC Programming experience required.
  • Proven experience of CNC Programming preferred.
  • Experience working with CNC milling centers is advantageous.

Overview

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering business in their search for a CNC Turner to work in Crewe.

Job Details

Pay: Up to £17.42 per hour (Overtime paid at x1.5 of basic pay)

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week - 7:45am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, 7:45am to 12:45pm Friday

Duration: Permanent

Benefits: Early Finish Fridays, Pension, Free Parking, Flexible holiday bookings (Based on hours not days)

Role and Responsibilities

The CNC Turner will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using FANUC controls. This includes producing small bespoke orders and small batches, selecting appropriate materials, machining first-off samples, and maintaining traceability. The CNC Turner will also perform regular TPM-based maintenance and, where possible, manage multiple machines simultaneously.
