Job summary

A busy manufacturing company in Bradford is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to program, set, and operate CNC lathes. The ideal candidate will have experience with Fanuc and HAAS systems, must be able to read complex drawings, and work independently or as part of a team. This role offers the opportunity to work with low volume, complex components in a dynamic environment.

Overview

CNC Turner - Days

Contek are recruiting for a CNC Turner to work in an established and very busy company in Bradford.

This role will require you to program, set and operate a CNC Lathe, working a variety of components for a variety of industries where you will machine low volume, complex components.

Responsibilities

• Experience as a CNC Turner – programming, setting and operating lathes using Fanuc/HAAS
• Comfortable working to complex drawings
• Experience working with low volume work with components varying in sizes
• Ability to work alone and off your own initiative or as a team when needed
• Some inspection of components to ensure machining processes are being carried out correctly and efficiently

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience using Fanuc
• Apprenticeship served or a solid engineering foundation
• Ability to program without supervision
• Ideally used to machining complex components
