The Opportunity

As the team leader, you'll be the linchpin of the client's production area. Your core mission is to achieve On-Time In-Full (OTIF) results by meticulously managing work orders and eliminating all arrears. You'll be the first to spot and solve problems, ensuring every aspect of production meets our high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team to deliver on production plans by ensuring sufficient labour and material availability. You'll be the go-to person for all manufacturing specifications and quality checks, upholding our commitment to superior craftsmanship.
• Manage your team's day-to-day activities.
• You'll also be responsible for identifying and addressing training needs.
• Utilise your knowledge of 5S and problem-solving tools to continuously improve our processes.
• Act as a company representative on customer sites when required.

Candidate Essentials

• Experience operating CNC machines and general production machinery.
• Background within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate 5S in the workplace 5S awareness.

Desirable

• Experience with problem-solving tools and techniques (e.g., 8D).
• A background in bonding, metal machining, mechanical assembly, or similar processes.
• Familiarity with business quality management systems.
• Completion of a "Train the Trainer" or similar course.
