Job summary

A precision engineering company in West Byfleet is looking for a CNC Operator to join their night shift team. The ideal candidate will operate Mazak CNC Lathes and Milling machines, inspect parts for quality, and maintain a safe work environment. Mazco Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a well-established precision engineering company based in West Byfleet who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Operator to join their night shift team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and growing business with consistent overtime available.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Operating Mazak CNC Lathes and Milling machines
• Loading and unloading machines
• Running proven programs
• Inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working independently on the night shift

This is a machine operating role - programming or setting experience is beneficial but not essential.

What We're Looking For

• Experience operating CNC machines (Mazak preferred)
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Confident using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges)
• Reliable and able to work autonomously on nights
• Strong attention to detail

Shift Pattern

• Night Shift
• Monday to Thursday (4-night week)
• Excellent work-life balance with long weekends
