CNC Machinist

Location:SouthendSalary:Up to £14.61Hours:Day Shift Monday - Friday

Our client isseeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team, responsible for producing high-quality small-batch components to precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings to tight tolerances using horizontal and vertical machining centres.
  • Use a wide range of measuring equipment to inspect components after manufacture.
  • Complete all tasks allocated by the Supervisor promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area.
  • Support team members with additional tasks as required.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment and adhere to all Health & Safety procedures.
  • Perform final drilling of machined components from engineering drawings within tight limits.
  • Deburr and pack machined components to specification.
  • Carry out other reasonable tasks within manufacturing areas, including Assembly, Machine Shop, and Fabrication.
