Overview

CNC Milling Machining Technician (Weekend Shift - Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Contract Type: Contract / Permanent - March start date Location: Leamington Spa Role ID: 2025 Salary: £23.29 per hour (inclusive of 30% weekend shift premium). This will increase to 2026 rate for March start date. The Role A Friday, Saturday, Sunday shift - 12 hour shifts, commencing March 2026.

Key Competencies & Experience
  • Proven ability to produce precision components from technical drawings and route cards, working to tight tolerances and within routed timeframes
  • Strong experience machining a variety of materials
  • Using 3-, 4-, and 5-axis (3+2) CNC machines
  • Proficient in reading and understanding Fanuc machine code; capable of basic on-machine programming, with support from offline programmers
  • Able to read, understand, and edit CNC programmes, including adjusting speeds and feeds as needed
  • Competent in using measuring equipment to inspect work against planning and drawing specifications
  • Demonstrates a proactive and innovative approach to team support, with a strong focus on problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Flexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing operations
  • Willing to work overtime and operate multiple machines as required to meet KPIs and delivery deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of wire erosion is advantageous, though not essential
