Overview

Title: CNC Miller Setter Operator

Location: Nuneaton

Salary: Up to £18.00 per hour

Hours: Monday - Thursday 10 hour shifts days - Every Friday off

Benefits: 4 days working week, pension, free parking, good location.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up CNC milling machines
  • Select and set cutting tools, feeds, and speeds
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards
  • Inspect and measure finished components using precision measuring tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operations as they arise
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter Operator, preferably with experience on 3+2 axis knowledge
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
  • Solid understanding of CNC milling machine operations and tooling
  • Understanding of Fanuc controls and Doosan VMS advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred
  • Set up CNC milling machines according to job specifications
  • Load materials and tools into the machine
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure and inspect finished components for accuracy and quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operations
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records
