Job summary

A precision engineering company in Leeds is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to manage programming, setting, and operating CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have experience with HAAS, Fanuc, Siemens or Prototrak and be capable of machining components from various materials like stainless steel and aluminium. The role offers a competitive pay of £16 to £17 per hour, a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, and overtime opportunities during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC Miller and Programmer with sub-contract Machining experience.
• Must be able to Program, Set, Edit and Operate CNC machines.
• Knowledge of machining Stainless and Mild Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper, Bronze & Plastic.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC’s to produce accurate, quality components.
• Effective and efficient use of all materials and tooling.
• Managing your work schedule.
• Self inspecting all manufactured components.
• Adhering to all Quality and H&S Standards.
