A leading engineering firm in Southampton is seeking an experienced CNC Miller for night shifts. The role involves setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have recent machining experience and familiarity with Mazak or Integrex controls. Qualifications

• Skilled CNC Miller with recent machining experience.
• Preferably experienced with Mazak / Integrex controls, but other systems are acceptable.
• Ideally apprentice trained or have solid engineering knowledge.

CNC Miller - Night Shift

• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Uplift 1.3x
• Hours: 46 per week, Monday‑Thursday
• Location: Southampton
• Shift: 17:00 – 05:00 Nights

You’ll be responsible for setting, operating, and editing CNC milling machines to produce components to tight tolerances. The role involves reading engineering drawings, working to high standards, and contributing to continuous improvement within the machine shop.

What we’re looking for

• Skilled CNC Miller with recent machining experience.
• Preferably experienced with Mazak / Integrex controls, but other control systems are also welcome.
• Ideally apprentice trained or with solid engineering fundamentals.
• Basic turning experience would be an advantage.
• A proactive team player who takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail.
