Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a CNC Miller - Setter / Operator in Crewkerne. The ideal candidate will have experience with 2, 3 and 3+2 Axis Mills, along with familiarity in using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls. This role offers £15 - £16 per hour with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 4.30 pm, finishing at 1 pm on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting and operating CNC mills is essential.
• Familiarity with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls required.
• Ability to self-inspect components is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
• Debur finished components.

About the client

Contek Recruitment are working with an international foundry business who have been in business for over 100 years. They are now looking to grow their team with an additional CNC Miller - Setter / Operator.

The ideal person for this CNC Miller position will:

• Be experienced setting and operating 2, 3 and 3+2 Axis Mills
• Have worked with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
• Be able to self inspect
• Complete deburring
• Understand technical drawings
• Operate overhead cranes - training will be provided

As a CNC Miller you will work:

• Monday - Friday
• 7.30am - 4.30pm, 1pm finish on Fridays
• £15 - £16 per hour
