Role Overview

We are seeking a CNC Maintenance Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Derby, on behalf of our globally respected client who develops cutting-edge technologies to deliver clean, safe, and competitive solutions for the planet's vital power needs.

Responsibilities
  • Installations, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of manufacturing assets such as CNC machines, induction furnaces, injection molding machines, and automated systems.
  • Perform routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure manufacturing equipment is safe, available, and capable for use.
  • Utilize hand tools and test equipment to meet customer requirements.
  • Use drawings and data to implement effective mechanical system solutions.
  • Coordinate workload and activities with customers, production leaders, design engineers, and maintenance teams.
  • Collaborate with site manufacturing engineers to restore equipment performance.
  • Work alongside OEMs and design engineers.
  • Follow Rolls-Royce’s control standards and procedures.
Candidate Requirements
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, including completion of a recognized apprenticeship. Please attach proof of your apprenticeship certificate with your CV.
  • Good understanding of maintenance operations and fault finding on mechanical breakdowns.
  • Basic IT literacy and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of local and regional health and safety standards and regulations.
