CNC Operator - Trafford (M17)

Pay: £12.81 per hour • Job Type: Full-time • Shift: Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm; Friday: Early finish

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our team in Trafford (M17). This role involves working with plastics, metals, and woods using CNC machinery, ensuring accuracy and maintaining high-quality standards throughout production.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machinery and associated equipment (hydraulic press, grinder, borer, overhead crane).
  • Select and fit the correct tools to machines, setting tolerance levels as required.
  • Carry out machine setup, calibration, and routine maintenance.
  • Read and interpret detailed part drawings to produce precise components.
  • Inspect finished workpieces to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.
  • Plan daily machining tasks to meet production schedules efficiently.
