Job description

CNC GRINDER

We are recruiting for a Grinder to work for our client who are located in Holmfirth/Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES

• Working to tight tolerances
• Producing high precision work
• Work with bespoke one-off components through to small batch production.
• Inspection skills, able to check own work.
• The role requires a flexible approach, and the willingness to undertake a variety of tasks to facilitate the quality and productivity.
• To have experience of using cylindrical grinders (universal)
• Knowledge of Surface grinding machines would be advantageous.
• Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience in grinding different types of materials.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
• Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS

You will work a day shift - Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4pm / Friday 7.30am-1.30pm

THE PAY

You will earn an hourly rate of between £14 to £17.50 an hour depending on experience
