A leading healthcare provider in London is looking for a Clinical Research Nurse to join the Renal research team. This role involves facilitating clinical trials, engaging with patients, and managing trial data. You'll be responsible for identifying eligible participants and ensuring their informed consent while conducting home visits. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient advocacy, contributing to high-quality research in both hospital and community settings.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Clinical Research Nurse to join our Renal research team at St George's Hospital. You will support the delivery of high-quality research studies working closely with clinical teams, patients, and families.
This newly established research role is part of a service dedicated to delivering high-quality research not only in the hospital environment but also within the community by increasing public access to a broader range of clinically significant studies locally. As part of the role, the post holder will also be required to conduct occasional home visits to trial participants, and will work collaboratively with research teams, wards, and the wider multidisciplinary team, managing their own caseload of clinical trial participants and ensuring the achievement of both local and national service targets.
The post holder will be expected to possess the necessary skills to enable patients to make informed decisions regarding trial participation, acting as a knowledgeable advisor and patient advocate.
