A leading cancer research center in the UK is seeking a dedicated individual to join its gynaecological oncology unit. This role involves attending multidisciplinary meetings, consenting patients for trials, and conducting surgical research. Ideal candidates will have experience in oncology and a commitment to excellence in clinical care. The Gynaecological Cancer Unit at the Royal Marsden is world renowned for excellence in clinical care and clinical research. It is comprised of multidisciplinary teams of medical oncologists, clinical oncologists, surgeons, palliative care physicians, clinician scientists, specialist nurses, dieticians, research nurses, trial coordinators, data managers and biological specimen coordinators. They have state-of-the-art facilities for all investigations and treatments utilizing expert histopathology, radiology and nuclear medicine services, including MRI and PET/CT.
The job will allow the successful candidate to undertake focused work in the area of gynaecological oncology surgical research.
