Qualifications

  • Must hold a Master's Degree in Pharmacy and be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Possess at least 5 years of post graduate experience in pharmacy.
  • Require a postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent specialist knowledge.
  • Have experience working in Mental Health services for a minimum of 2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the medication-related aspects of care within CYPMHS.
  • Provide expert medicines information and education support.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.

Skills

Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Mental Health therapeutics
IT skills - word-processing, PowerPoint, Excel
High level of Interpersonal skills
Confident and assertive communication with professionals

Education

Master's Degree in Pharmacy
Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy
Non-Medical Prescribing qualification or working towards it
