Clinical Operations Manager - Nurse

We are excited to announce an opening for a Clinical Operations Manager at our office in Central Bradford, overlooking the City Park. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside our senior leadership team and support a team of clinical pharmacists and technicians delivering clinical pharmacy services to GP federations, GP surgeries, and primary care networks across the nation.

Role & Purpose:

The Clinical Operations Manager is crucial in providing clinical oversight and strategic direction for our healthcare business, specialising in clinical pharmacy services for primary care providers. With a deep understanding of the Primary Care Network (PCN) Directed Enhanced Service (DES), General Medical Services (GMS), and Alternative Provider Medical Services Contract (APMS), the Clinical Operations Manager ensures the quality, safety, and effectiveness of our clinical services. This role is key in driving innovation, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering collaborative relationships with our clients and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily clinical operations, ensuring services meet and exceed regulatory standards.
  • Develop and deliver services to the next level, adding value to our clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and management of all clinical staff.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with the team.
  • Liaise with clients, responding to inquiries within 24 hours, and manage client relationships through regular meetings and communications.
  • Oversee staff rota planning, ensuring continuous service coverage.
  • Monitor and review staff performance, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
  • Develop frameworks to promote clinical excellence and ensure staff training and compliance are up-to-date.
  • Travel as required for performance management, client meetings, and service renewals.
  • Continuously improve clinical operations efficiency and participate in research and development as directed.
Qualifications
  • Must be a registered Independent Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist or Nurse.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in primary care.
  • Registered with the GPhC or NMC in good standing.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
