This role involves managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims, supporting clients through the legal process, and collaborating with a dedicated team. They are seeking a Solicitor to join their Medical Negligence & Serious Injury team, with a focus on clinical and medical negligence work. You will be an experienced Solicitor with 2-6 PQE who can demonstrate strong knowledge and practical experience in handling clinical and medical negligence matters.
The successful candidate will adopt a proactive, solutions-focused approach and will work closely with a team of fee earners, paralegals and legal assistants. Responsibilities will include managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims, reviewing and analysing medical records, instructing and liaising with medical experts and counsel, drafting pleadings and correspondence, advising clients on liability and quantum, and progressing matters through pre-action protocols and litigation where appropriate.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential, alongside excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
