Role - Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Financials - £45K to £65K Base DOE

Location - Liverpool

Experience

The client will consider applications from qualified solicitors with a minimum of 4 years demonstrable PQE.

Responsibilities
  • Investigating and evaluating potential claims of medical negligence.
  • Reviewing medical records and evidence to assess the strength of a case.
  • Collaborating with medical experts to assess the quality of care provided.
  • Providing clients with legal advice on their case and their legal rights.
  • Drafting legal documentation, such as letters of claim, pleadings, and witness statements.
  • Negotiating settlements with insurance companies or defendants on behalf of clients.
  • Representing clients in court proceedings in the event of a trial.
  • Keeping clients informed about the progress of their case and managing their expectations.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards when handling cases.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to keep up-to-date with changes in medical negligence law and practice.
