Overview

As the Clinical Lead at Avery Healthcare, you will play a vital role in supporting the Home Manager across all aspects of Home Management, ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for residents and their visitors. You will be responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of residents, acting as a focal point for contact with residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals, and overseeing staff management and resource planning.

About the Role

Your focus as Clinical Lead will be to support the Home Manager across all aspects of Home Management, providing a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for residents and their visitors.

  • Being responsible for monitoring the state of wellbeing of each resident whilst being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans.
  • Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing.
  • Preparing the staff duty rota to always ensure appropriate staffing levels whilst also being responsible for appraising staff.
  • Advising on the supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks, ensuring the timely and appropriate ordering of replacement goods.
About You

  • Hold a current NMC registration.
  • Have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Have at least two years experience working in a similar care environment.

  • Have a positive attitude to developing staff and enhancing care of the residents.
