This post will provide an excellent opportunity for senior trainees and clinicians to gain experience in a large comprehensive cancer centre. The duties will revolve around support for the North‑West penile cancer, complex retroperitoneal and pelvic cancer teams. In addition, the post holder will assist our tertiary referral service for prostate diagnostics. The post holder will support the Consultant Urological Surgeons, work alongside other junior doctors and liaise closely with senior medical colleagues. The remainder of the appointee’s professional time will be deployed on other clinical duties, administration, and teaching. Applications are invited for this post in the department of Uro‑Oncological Surgery at the largest single site cancer hospital in Europe. We are looking to recruit a dedicated Uro‑Oncology Clinical Fellow Doctor with a view to potential long‑term commitment. The successful candidate will join a team of Uro‑Oncological surgeons and work in the largest cancer hospital in the UK. The department consists of two inpatient wards (38 beds), an oncology critical care unit, five operating theatres, and the integrated procedures unit.

The Trust supports the requirements for continuing professional development (CPD) as laid down by the GMC and surgical colleges and is committed to providing time and financial support for these activities.
This role does not require participation in the on‑call rota.
